final: proposal
Iconic memory is the brain’s fast decaying store of visual information, a type of sensory memory that briefly stores an image which has been perceived for a small duration. Memories degrade over time as new memories are formed and collected. For the final project I would like to experiment with making images of memories in a way that we actually perceive them: sometimes blurred beyond recognition, sometimes exceedingly clear. I also might explore the sensation of recalling a memory that never existed.
